DESIGN
SHINRIN savanne
The SHINRIN collection translates the visual language of Japanese ink painting into contemporary wallpaper design. Each design is based on an original hand-painted artwork and follows the principles of reduction, emptiness and concentration – central elements of Zen aesthetics.
The motifs depict abstracted tree landscapes – sometimes delicate, sometimes expressive. Lines, shapes and gradients unfold their effect within the space without dominating it. SHINRIN creates an atmosphere that is calm, clear and contemplative.
